The rising producer from Belgium, NICKO////, releases his dynamic new EP.

Opening up with the expansive title track ‘A Curious Moment Of Life’ NICKO///// sets the tone with thumping kick drums, bass stabs and atmospheric keys.

‘Poseidon’ keeps the momentum going, the hi hat and kick drum leading the way as space-age keys chime in from a far away distance as the track unfolds. Warm ominous analog synths occasionally phase in and out and at times without the percussion lead for full on sonic abstraction.

‘Pine Bay’ is next to roar in, booming immediately from the onset NICKO///// assaults the listener with deep kick drums and subtle oscillating synths. The middle segment of this track ditches the foundation for more other worldly abstraction before returning to how it began while ending in Ambient House glory with echoing cymbals.

The EP ends on ‘A World Of Music’, a tribal Afro House groove with subtle chords, echoing vocal samples and driving percussion. ‘A World Of Music’ expands and keeps with the sound of the EP with different sonic destinations throughout the whole track.

NICKO//// has an all encompassing EP that is a full musical journey with many amazing peaks and valleys.
